Ayam Organics is the outcome of Ute’s life long work. She started her journey in the early 80’s in India where she joined the Osho ashram. From there she continued her journey via Thailand, Japan, California and the UK, and eventually came full circle to settle in India’s South Goa. Nowadays she’s happily managing her fabulous natural yoga retreat resort, enjoys the company of three children and many friends from all corners of the world. Her employees greatly respect her lifetime work achievements and as a true determined German, she continues to work hard on Ayam Organics as well as many other projects. Her passion for promoting all things ecological seems to be unstoppable!
One of Ute’s biggest achievements, a natural yoga retreat resort in nearby Palolem beach called Bhakti Kutir (translation: Divine Hut). The resort has gone through many stages of development and has many returning guests, who discover more unexpected detail on each visit. Bhakti Kutir offers three yoga shalas, an experienced yoga teacher Sunita Singh, an incredible Ayurvedic clinic and spa managed by Ute’s family doctor Vijay Nambiar, 20+ eco huts made of natural materials, a vegetarian restaurant serving creative meals, live music evenings, all of which are located in a jungle filled with beautiful birds and animals.
